The page hasn’t been updated in quite some time, but the guarantee
still holds true ( my years in the industry, sessions completed, etc just need to be

Many of you have been fearful of
offering a guarantee like this, but I can assure you that there is nothing to worry about
as long as you can actually deliver results
in your training… and I know you can! Here’s the truth:
In 14 years of training clients I
have had exactly ONE
client ask for their money back.
This client was actually training
with one of my CPTs and was a pain from the beginning… I’m sure you know what
I’m talking about.
Of course, this client didn’t actually follow the nutrition plan
( we
require all new clients to bring in exercise and food journals for the 1st 21
days of their activity outside of the studio
), but they did bring
in a few sheets with some scribbles on them. This client pretty much had their
mind made up that there was no way they could lose weight – and guess what,
their self-fulfilling prophecy came true.
In my opinion it is best to set
clients like this free since they are a negative force you do not wanting
inhabiting your studio.
Depending on your bootcamp,
one-on-one, or small group practices I would add a few lines to your guarantee

Did you catch what I changed? I switched 30
days to 21 days
(now
you know right away whether they will be asking for a refund) and I added that
they must follow
our healthy nutrition plan
. This immediately lets people know
that they will not be following a crash diet… which is what they fear.
I just want to reiterate one more
point.
People will NOT ask for a refund
even if they tried to follow your plan and get the results they had hoped for.
The reason is because they know how hard you are working to help them and if
they ask for a refund they will have to leave your coaching program. Plus, most
people know that they aren’t really following the program exactly as they
should which is why they can’t expect the stellar results they had hoped for.
Luckily, most people really are honest (I wish this went for online fitness clients
who buy ebooks ; )
Also, if you noticed I added a cincher that closes anyone who
has any remaining doubt by adding the line “ and pay for your first personal training
session with another trainer!”
(You’re prospects are going to be thinking “Who’s going to be that
crazy to offer that kind of a guarantee unless they are #1 and really do help
clients get results?”)
It works.
So what you should do now is NOT copy word for word my guarantee
( that
will hurt both of our websites in Google
), but rather tweak the
copy to make it your OWN. Lastly, the other
tips that will help you increase prospect to client conversion are:
1. Adding your image to the guarantee page
2. Adding your digital signature
3. Having a “Get Started Link” right below your photo, signature,
and guarantee that directs your prospect to your online PARQ or health
questionnaire to set up a complimentary fitness consultation.
